1. If lost mobile phone is found by the complainant, he / she visits CPLC Central Reporting Cell, Sindh Governor House along with recovered mobile phone, original CNIC, proof of purchase including original packaging (with correct IMEI), warranty card or receipt for submission of request for “re-activation of blocked Mobile Set”.
2. Owners/complainants of recovered mobile phones, reside outside Karachi, can send their request for “re-activation of blocked Mobile Set” through fax / email along with copy of CNIC, proof of purchase (warranty card/receipt).
3. If the snatched / stolen / lost mobile phone is recovered by CPLC with the assistance of LEAs / Market Associations, it will inform the owner of such phones using information available in its database. The rightful owners/victims visit CPLC Central Reporting Cell, Sindh Governor House along with original CNIC, proof of purchase including original packaging (with correct IMEI), warranty card or receipt.
4. If satisfied with the Proof of purchase “Acknowledgement” and “request for re-activation of Blocked Mobile Set” CPLC hands over the relevant phone to the owner/victim.
5. Information of recovered blocked Mobile Phone is sent to PTA for removing blocking instructions to all mobile network operators.
6. Mobile network operators reactivate recovered Mobile Phone accordingly.
